Those KTM powerplants are nasty.

But it's more about rider. The YFZ from what ive rode is a pretty potent bike, while the outlaw has more displacement.

Your comparing apples to oranges. The polaris is a full on trail bike while the 450 is a race bike... If you were comparing it to the S model it would probably be more of a comparison.

Partially true. I've seen a CRF450 smoke an XR650. Dirtwheels test said the IRS launched better. What I'm judging who would win by is actually watching polaris' pull 450s off the line all day at the races.

all depends on the rider. i have dragged a couple of 450's, including the yfz, and have beat them more times then not. the 450's that i have had alot of problems with when dragging are the honda 450's, they are aweful fast, alot faster then the yfz, but it's a yamaha, need i say more????

those 525 outlaws are pretty fast. i raced one with a pipe and jet, he stayed with me out of the hole but i put 2 or 3 bikes on him in a 500ft drag race. most 450's that i race i do the same to them, so id say it would boil down to the rider
