whats the biggest size tire i could run on my 96 chevy s10 4x4 without lifting it? also is there anyway to make it so putting bigger tires on my truck wont affect my speedo?

guessing it's in stock trim, probably a 31. Speedo wise, it will throw it off some.

ZR2 package or not? 31s will rub, especially if your wheels are wide. Don't know my metrics, but a 30 inch would fill the fenderwells all you want if its not a zr2 or have any kind of lift.

if you have 16 inch rims and are a zr2 i would probably say 265/75/16 which is a 32 or really big 31

shouldn't have any problems running 31's at all. You could always do a body lift if you really want to run a little bigger tire. Cheap way to get some more clearence if you want to run a slightly bigger tire. I'd rather not run one on my ranger, but if it allows me to fully stuff a 35, it looks like I'll be running it.
