Yup, mine is .040 in the hole.

I verified it today. At TDC, my Wiseco 89mm 11:1 piston is .040 in the hole.

I'll be fixing this with decking if a can just get my cylinder off!

I just did not install the base gasket ....

this gave me 10.6 with a 10.8 to 1 440 kit

About your cylinder. take a block of wood to it and tap it ( not lightly) with a big hammer, keep doing it to each side till it pops loose. This happened to me when i redid my top end.

yeh my 440 was .040 in the hole as well having my cylinder decked at machine shop now taking off .030
