Slight Problem I've Had

For the past few years my 400ex has done this. If the quad sits for a week or so without being started the battery has around a half of juice left to start it but to engage it I have to rock the quad back in forth. Is it the starter that is bad or is it the battery that isn't holding a charge? I wanted to see what you guys thought.

If you have to rock the quad you might want to check to make sure your wires are tight if you didn't already.

Ive torn my quad down several times to the frame and rewired and still no go.

Hmmm.... its got to be the battery. I'd go and get another if I was you.
