I have an 87 with a wiseco bored 20 over, ported and polished head, fmf fatty with fmf power core 2 silencer. I have the stock gears and do some trail riding but alot of drag racing with friends. I would rather have the low end and take off then the higher end. What would be the best with what i have. What kind of performance would the 38mm a/s give with what i have.

mikuni 38mm tmx carb has better throttle response and low end than any other carb, the airstrykers are more of a mid to top end carb

$150 shipped to your door. I upgraded and got the 40.5mm from ESR. The carb looks and functions as if it was new.
