Oil Ring Expender Question (JE)

Hi,

I've just installed my brand new JE Piston and now I'm wondering if the gap was supposed to be down or up? Does that make a difference?

I'm talking about the ''V''.

I think theres a K on the rings if not then im thinking of the other rings if so then the K faces up.

I'm talking about the oil ring, the one with the "waves". I would like to know if there is a way for the gap on it. It's not really a ring, it's in the middle of the 2 other oil rings...

Your welcome man, I didnt worry when I put mine on cuz I thought it was a smetrical ring.

It does not matter which way it goes. The most important things are that the lettering is up, the ring gaps are correct and that they are in the correct placement.
