Are those for plugging that hole in the stock airbox where the snorkel is? If it is you can use a black paint cap that does the same thing you can hardly see it up in there anyways.

nacs went out of business so if you want one you'll probably have to find one used.

yeap i used a black spray paint top, i found one so perfect it fit so snug i had to oil it to get it in there, then i cut off the acces stuff ont he inside following the angle of the airbox and it works great. theres nothing sticking out, nothing can get in a little more airflow too because the snorkel almost rest against the filter so having the snorkel removed theres more filter space.

I got a Nac's Racing Plug back when they were still in business for $9.00

Here's a picture with the EHS Racing Lid.

So what exactly does this plug do? If you can get like a block off for the snorkel then what was the purpose of the snorkel? Someone explain to me how it is good to block this off.

If you run your quad with out an airbox lid or a heavily modified lid the snorkel isn't required.

So basically it's just another way for the 400 to breath? Would it be to much airflow if you ran a snorkel and and your airbox lid off? I wouldn't do it anyway just because I ride in way too much mud. I was just curious.

Mostly for looks I guess. You can remove the snorkel and the lid, and then run this block off for just a little more protection. I have one laying around in the garage somewhere. Not even worth selling, it makes a pretty cool conversation piece. I believe I paid right around $10 or so from the Nacs shop last time I was up there.

wouldnt it be sweet if u could put an uni or k and n in place of the snorkel u could prolly find one that would fit from like a mini quad or something that would just be sweet looking imo.
