Does a 2007 motor fit in a 04-05 frame??

I really would like to know this, maybe would i have to change the motor mounts around or is it all set the way it is:confused: ....thanks in advance!!

They're all the same bikes ;) . Just a couple of changes in some minor bolts and minimal mods in other places.

Sweet thanks, i'm building a up a yfz from scratch so if anyone has any stock parts off a 04-05 just send me a PM!! anywhere from the calipers, to hardware, to rotors, push start, cables, full harness! levers....stuff like that! i already got myself a frame and swingarm! thanks ride1rob!!!

Frames are almost the same, but electronics are different, on the 06 and up frames, there are some lil mounts for some of the elctronics that aren't present on the 04-05 but is easy to get them in with some home made hardware . . .
