I saw last week at the nationals that 1st place in the 70cc "CVT"
was xtr typhoon which I thought was an auto clutch.. and is it a
70 or 125.. it has to be fast if he beat travis last week.. is this the
way this class is going 4 stroke. i thought the 2 stroke would be
faster..

Hey Jim, Christian runs a DRR L/C. The ATVA never changed it from a long time ago.
As far as 4 stroke, there are no competitive 4 strokers racing the atva in the 70 CVT class. I would like to see the ATVA come up with a cc limit for a 4 stroke in the 70 class.
One of the fastest kids in the 90CVT is running a Kymco 4 stroke.

Christian is on a DRX70

When kids run multiple classes it seesm to only pick up the 1 brand.

You will see this on other riders too.

He has an MK70 just like you Jim

Maybe a little more tweking, but the platform is very similar.

I was not sure if it was a dumb question or not.
our local track still lists both of brandon's drr's as "UNK"

Are you talking Muddy Creek or Yadkinville GNCC? A Typhoon started next to my son at Yadkinville last week and although slower off the line seemed to gain ground on the other kids It was a 125 Auto Clutch
