naw im pretty sure that im building it into a 500r, just out of curiosity of what people would pay. it has crossed my head many times to sell it, but im pretty convinced im keeping it.

Ben, what do you think its worth?

also ben, i have your stickers on my tank, but everytime i take a pic of it, they are reflective and they show up as a white mark. sorry.

If the frame is good I would guess $2200 maybe $2.5k on the west side anyway.

500R!!! Sounds good!

Yeah, The stickers are not very flash friendly, but do look cool in person.

You ever wear that shirt?

We just sold a running 05 for $2200 with an axle, arms and shocks...

We also bought our current 04 project complete, with a broken case for $1500...

I would never pay $2500 for that quad, there's nothing even on it worth mentioning.

In the WA area I think my guess is pretty close. I imagine it would be cheaper on the east side.

06-17-2008, 07:04 PM
$1200 tops

06-17-2008, 07:23 PM
Ill buy it off you if you decide to go cheap on it.

06-17-2008, 07:58 PM
You would get more money parting it out. Sad but true.

I dont know about that even...

its too hard to see. What aftermarket stuff is on it? That is really the determining factor here and I just cant see what is on it. It doesn't look like a lot of aftermarket stuff, but like I said, I cant see...:ermm:

well, 400exrider707 your right it doesnt really have anything worth mentioning on it. its pretty well stock, i had a pretty good engine in it, because i drag race then it blew. but it has tire with about 1 mile on them, fairly new bumber, fairly new ac grab bar, new brakes. but its pretty well stock, im going to be getting revalves enventually.

i came across a CRF 450 with pro action suspension, and a pro circuit titanium pipe for 3300, its in really good condition, so i got to sell one of my quads to get. and i have never rode something so fast.

Hey so since you said your getting revalves im guessing you are going to fix it then? I am picking up a brand new 09 crf450r when they come out the 08 is just too sweet but since 09s almost out might as well get a newest one.

yeah the 09s might have a suprise since they havent came out yet. I rode that one 450, and my dad thinks the 450 is too much for me, he recommended the 250, but then i will probably have to build up the 250 to satisfy me and he wants me to leave it stock. lol.

pro-rider46 this is a little off subject but I just realized we were born on the same day. To keep it on subject though I would go with parting it out because people will pay good money for frame, plastic, and shocks ect...

The only thing that will get decent money on a mostly stock bike is the frame, and front shocks. Maybe plastic if its in geat condition, but is it worth the time and effort to part and ship all that stuff? I'd just sell it outright, but you're not going to get a lot, sorry.

I'd say $1000 tops is what i'd spend. Most guys only use stock frames, spindles, brakes and motors.....

well, if i was going to sell it, i would also through in the head that has 5 hours on it, it was ported by DRG, Kibblewhite springs, Ferrea intake valves, kibblewhite oversized exhaust vavles, and a new stage 2 cam, the piston is probably reusable too. so i would probably get some decent money for that too.

honda4life72, i would trade if your frame was black, but its white so idk. It is have tempting because i wouldnt mind having a gusseted frame, but i need it black.
