I just recently installed a 440 kit on my 05 honda. I am needing some help on carb tuning. For some reason it will not idle unless I feather the choke back and forth. I am up for options. THANKS A BUNCH!

2005 Honda 400EX
Wiseco 440 Kit
12.5:1 Compression
Hotcams Stage 2 cam
Hotrods Rod and Crank
Ported and Polished head
Hardened Rockers
Stock Carb with 170 main, stock pilot (38), and clip on 3rd notch(dynojet kit)
K&N Filter
Hinson Billet basket and 8 disk clutch
HD clutch springs
Yoshi Full titanium Exhaust with CF pipe
13/39 Sprockets
+2 extended swingarm
Durablue Axle
Lonestar front and rear hubs
Diamond J Customs lowering/widening kit

just to help out people that are knowledgable to help u..
what octane gas are u using?
definitely makes a difference when trying to tune an engine.

You need a bigger pilot. If you are running the stock one like in your sig then its way too small. Try a 42 pilot.

Excellent, the shop will be open tomorrow so I wil run by and pick one up. Thanks for the advice.
