hmf exhaust

Hey guys i just installed my sport hmf slip-on, went to a 155 main jet . I havn't touched the pilot jet yet.It starts easy idles no problem but at high rpm it sputters,my alt is 0 - 600ft.The information that came with the pipe says they went to a 35 pilot 2 1/2 turns out and 5 winds were cut off the slide spring. i have no idea what they mean by the slide spring. Can anybody help me out with this problem please.I also have a k&n filter with lid on.

It sounds like you are to rich try removing the airbox lid and see if the problem goes away. this is a quick way to check if your carb is jetted rich.

Thanks colby for info, i finally called my buddy who is a machanic at my local polaris dealer and he came by. He went up 1 clip on the needle and went to a 167.5. He said i was close and the stumble i was feeling was my damn rev limiter. I was hitting it so damn fast i didn't think it was it, but thats things u learn and remember. The damn thing is a rocket now!!
