from my reading the stage 2 would suit u nicely..

the stage 3 is more for a stroker motor to put the extra tq to good use..

The stage 1 is a better all around cam- has more lift and less duration than the stage 2. also uses stock rockers!

I say try the stage 2. For a 440 it will give you nice all around. A stage 3 will give you mid to top with a better top end than the stage 2. Ive had both of these on my 440 stroker so I know how they act.

I had a friend with a 440 stroker and a stage 3 cam. Hard to tell where the gains were but this thing pulled from idle to even the +1000 CDI so hard the power never let up. It was insane how fast it was. It went 86MPH, yeah it ate almost everything for breakfast lunch and dinner. No matter who jumped on it they would whoop everyones a** in a drag. Anyways if you have the stock cam in now anything will be an increase. Stage 1 works good it gives it all around power and deffinately more top end than stock too. Stage 2 I havent ridden a quad with stage 2 yet but I believe its more of top end.

check there web site and see which suits your wants and needs better. anything you get from anyone on here is just there opinion and i would assume only a couple of us have used more than one cam from hotcams. i personally like my stage 2.
