I just picked up a 2004 450r and added Laegers +2 Arms and axle. Who does the best shock conversion with fast turn around time. Do i nead the rear link some say yes some say no.

i rode a quad with GT Thunder (the only stock rebuilds ive ridden) and i was very suprised at how good it was. It was the full deal, front and rear shocks, rear link, +2 arms, and a swingarm btw

You dont "need" the link. It's really however the shock builder makes the shocks. Some builders use it and others dont.

True but most recomend it because it helps lower the rear without having to use your preload or travel and it makes a smoother progression as it travels. I had a chart before of the links and their progression ratio and most stock links start out nice and get to stiff too quick making the ride harsh, most aftermarket links had a smooth curve that didnt spike like the OEM

I'd narrow it down to GTT and C&D racing, i think both have a good turn around time (a week or 2) it just depends if you want the link or not.
