crankcase breather?

went to put a hose on the crankcase breather and tried blowing through it just to check and i wasnt able to blow through it at all. is there some kind of check valve in there or should i be able to blow through it freely. i went to pull the nipple out then noticed you have to pull the cylinder up a bit for clearance. if theres no check valve it must just be clogged and i will try blowing throgh it with a blow gun. any ideas?

If the oil cap is on how do you expect to blow more air into the crankcase if it's sealed? Try removing the fill cap next time. There is no check valve either.
