I'm looking at suspension set-ups for my kfx450. I'm pretty much set on fox evols, but I'm not sure about A-arms. So I'm looking mainly at Roll designs and Walsh racecraft. Which one would you choose? They would be for mx btw.

I'd go with Roll but both have excellent quality but it comes down to price I think both are close $1400 for Roll and I think $1000 for Walsh but dont quote me, either way you'll be happy.

Roll dEsign for the win, they set the industry standard for today back in the 90's. Almost every brand has copied off roll, the new 'flow' a-arms are gull wing. Look at how many brands are now using the exact same ball joint setup(forgot the proper term), JB, Holz, and many more.

Either way and you'll be happy. I run Roll on my 450r and Walsh Flow on my KTM 450.

Roll are a little heavier in my opinion, but they are strong as hell! Walsh has great design, good strength, but I think lacks a little bit in joint quality.

Your call~~~Jay

THE HEIMS WOULD GO OUT ALL THE TIME

I have yet to see a company use a real good quality joint... But its all how you take care of them as well. I've seen joints go out after 3 races, and have also seen the same exact joints last over a season on a bike that was greased and maintained after each moto/race.

Most people have no clue how to properly take care of heims. I just roll my eyes every time I see someone spraying lube on their self-lubricating heims.

And that lube may as well be glue, collecting dust and mud which prematurely will wear out the joints:ermm:

Either are going to be good, but I find the heims to be a lot more money to replace on top of high priced A-arms.

There are lots of cheaper arms that are probably just as good. You should look around as there are lots of places that do combo deals for better prices.

Check ebay and sponsors of the forums.

KOQ, there are a lot of top national riders using them, they don't advertise much, but their products are good, and for 659.00 you can get a set of fully adjustable a-arms that use the factory ball joints, which are overly strong, because they are the same as the ones on the 700. you can call Tom at his shop, 616-363-1215, and they have a lot of other kawi products also

Okay so I've eliminated walsh, but I also started looking at atv4play. Anyone have opinions on those. They look pretty good at there a bit cheaper which is good for my budget.
