My honda 400ex was missing in the middle on the top two gears it just loses power and stops pulling. I cleaned the carb new plug new gas and adjusted the valves but now i cant get the valves right. The piston is at top dead center and i set them at .004 on the intake and .005 on the exhaust. but there is still alot of slop could the timing chain have jumped a tooth and through it all off. Please help honda wont tell you anything unless you give them $64 an hour.
