Hey guys,

Do any of you know anything about PRM's air scoops for the 400ex? Anyone have them? How are they?

Anyone got pics besides what's posted on PRM's website? If so, post them please.

I'm looking for a set of scoops that fit and look similar to the OMF's without the hefty price.

Oh yeah, are Crowley scoops any good?

Get a set from Tinner. They are just as good if not better, and will save you a few bucks. There's a write up on them in the review section.

I've read the review of the Tinner's scoops, and they look like nice pieces, but I just like the look of the OMF/Crowley/PRM scoops better. If anyone knows more about the PRM scoops, let me know... Who knows, maybe I'll just throw them on my Christmas list, then I can do a review on them! :D

Thanks for all of your opinions and info,

Jordan

I've got them on my quad. I think they look really good. They were a snap to bolt on. 2 bolts on each side. Someone reply to this reminding me to take a digital pic tomorrow. I'll post it sometime tomorrow night.

Okay here's a pretty crummy picture. I've got a cheap digital camera, and it doesn't take good pictures in bad lighting. You still get a good idea of how they look though.

Yep, they are really sturdy. They fit along the fenders so that there is very little gap. I've ridden with them quite a bit, and they don't vibrate or rattle, so I've been pretty happy with my purchase.

Just let me know when you're headed to Sand Lake, and I'll try and make it down.

Did you have to take out the stock fender brackets??
It looks like you did in the pic.
Are your fenders still as sturdy as they once were?
The two bolts that you used.....were they ones that you used off of your quad or did they come with the scoops?

The two bolts are the same ones that are on the fender brackets. The brackets stay in place, so the fenders are just as solid as they were before. It might be easier to install if you got a little bit longer bolt, but I managed to install mine with the stock bolts in about 15 minutes. It was easy.
