backfiring

i ride a 03 kfx all stock accept t4 pro pipe.i just replaced valve cover gasket and now when it runs it backfires?any suggestions?

When does it back fire? On the 1/2 to 3/4 throttle, when you let off the throtle, full throttle?

your jets may be a little bit off. that your u most likely need a new jet kit and i definately reccomend a better air filter. that or airs getting in somewhere where it shouldnt be

I expierienced backfiring on the throttle let off and all i needed to do was turn the fuel screw a tiny bit to fix the problem. it still backfires a little bit cause im too lazy to keep taking the carb off:)

You need to jet it and maybe get a Uni air filter or something. Definitely jet it though.
