how do i adjust the clutch on my 400ex ... to get it as loose as possible .. so that as soon as i let it go i go ... right now when i punch the thorottle it just revs like i got the clutch held .. well any help would be great thanks

Well it sounds like you need a new clutch but you mite be able to pull back the ruber boot that covers the clutch perch ther's a screw that goes in to the perch turn screw in make sure you don't turn the parking brake screw. hope this helps:D

IF YOUR RUNNING A 440 KIT, I'D RECOMEND AN 8 PLATE CLUTCH KIT WHEN YOU DO REPLACE IT. A LITTLE PRICEY, BUT A GOOD CHOICE WITH THAT KIND OF HP. :cool:
Make sure you have about 3/8 inch play in the clutch lever. 1 adjuster is on the clutch lever. The other adjustment is down on the engine. If you have play and it slips, its time for new clutch discs.
