R Coil questions

I just bought a motor for my R. Have no idea yet what year it is. I have everything I need for it except a Coil. Are all years the same (plug ins different?), or do I need a certain year???

just cross reference the part with other models, I got one off a trx 200x ,I beleive, and it works great,and the bonus is it had a much longer spark lead than the one for the 250r.
