just finished my rebuild ??

I just finished my rebuild and i was wondering if there is anything i should do extra to my 440 before the initial start. Of coarse oil fuel and all that. Also is there anything i should be looking or listening for, like valves etc.... I am very new at this.

after you put the oil in and everything is ready pull the plug of the spark plug and turn it over for 20 seconds get that oil threw the whole engine just click the starter dont hold it just keep taping it for 20 seconds then put the plug in and start it let it warm up for 5 mintues and check the oil it will need more

yea i found that out when i tried to put all 2.6 quarts in with out starting it. oil everywhere...
