Yes, +3 on a arms is +3 on each arm (+6 total) but +4 axle is +4 total. Just throwin that out there.

not from what ive been researching +3 from what i read is + 1.5 ON EACH SIDE. adding to 3 INCHES ALL AROUND. NOT 3 inches on one side.

Proof. stock quad is 46 inches wide. +3 a arms and a 4-1 offset puts it at 50 inches wide

46 inches + 6 inches = 52 inches - 1 inch(left 4-1 wheel) - 1 inch(right 4-1) inch = 50 inches. Your proof prooves you are wrong.

LOL i you proved that i proved myself wrong haha. well i was familiar with offsets so my bad guys :o

Good to know cause i have been planning this in the future to make it 2 inches wider over all. So id get +1 a arms and +2 axle correct?

or you could get +2 a-arms and 4+1 offset wheels, thats a better set up than +1 a-arms alone

It's not a huge difference, but it is a difference. Your suspension/a-arm setup will probably also play into this. Also note, that some wheels may advertise 4:1 but are NOT a true 4:1.;)

its not much, but it is better. you will really notice the difference if you get used to 4+1. then switch back to 3+2

Exactly, it's like using a set of flexx bars, they dont seem to make much of a difference, until you go back to standard bars...
