Stock Exhaust, Remove Spark Arrestor?

Hey Guys, I just bought a New Left Over 07 450R and was wondering if anyone had removed the spark arrestor from the stock muffler?

Just lookign for a little more low throttle response and a little more noise without the $$ of a pipe...for now.

yea i have done it.. not a big differnece.. alot louder thow.

i did it to for now. just got a little louder and noticed a little bit more throttle response. nothing to wet your pants over tho.

How do you remove it? I have an 08', what exactly is the spark arrestor for?? I've heard people talking about those, and when you go to certain places you have to have one? How much louder is it, and would I have to re jet?

if you rejet it for no lid and only remove the baffle, not the spark arrestor (they are 2 pieces on 06+) you will notice a big difference and it has a sound that's not too shabby as well
