Need help with Tear-Offs

how do you put multiple tear offs on? if i put a bunch on, i end up grabbing them and ripping all of them off. is there something you do to put more than 1 on so you dont rip them all off?

i put them on with every one but the first one is folded over kinda like a loop over the post. if that makes since. like you put one on and before you put the next one on you fold the part you grab the big hole and put it on the post and then you do the next one like that and so on and the last one you let loose that way when you tear it off the next ones handle will pop free. not really sure if any of that makes since to you
