Opinion needed - '01 YXL 150

I'm looking to upgrade my 9 year old from his Kasea 50. Can anyone comment on the YXL from a standpoint of quality and whether it would be too much for a 9 year old to handle?

BYW, its mostly for trail riding.

IMO...If your son has been ridin' awhile go for it. Biggest thing is to set the shocks lite so it doesn't buck him around..or low tire presure and mine has a screw in the throttle assembly so you can limit it.They have the full floorboards so if hes short it makes it nice and they top out about 40-45mph(on a 500' drag track that is..)

my son is 8, 55lbs w/gear,feet just touch floorboards and he handles it alrite trail ridin'..good practice for xc racin':macho
