Going to the Hillclimb

Me, Jon370, and the 401'S are going to bike week in New Hampshire and doin the Gunstock Hillclimb. Going to be a side by side shoot out up the hill this year.

Frontend will be a little light with that stock length arm, but you should get plenty of traction.

for the past 2 years the hill has been easy with 3 step ups along the way

hang1p just curious as to what gearing you run on that 401?

bike week is running from 6-15 to 6-21 hillclimb is on 6-18 at gunstock ski area my gearing is 14-39 which i have to work on with this motor i like to do my pit hill climbs in third gear power band but also like to keep my speed down to keep the launch factor down at the top: example

What a c**k tease. Cant wait to see the pics from the event. Bike doesnt look like much of a hill shooter, but from those last pics it looks like it holds its own.

I'm the one that usually catches for Mike in the pic above but we had 4 other guys there so I backed way off to take the pics. The guys in the pics ran off screaming like little girls rather than grab the Quad. So, yes it tumbled and no the was no damage done.

i wish jon370 had some pics of the old gunstock hill, that was respectable. the new hill is weak but you try to climb it on foot : took 2 beers and a smoke to get there, i just remembered the old hill was 73 degress in angle

ran the hillclimb yesterday i took a 3rd and 6th and jon370 took a 3rd and 5th we ran the open and over thirty class i got beatin by a 535cc banshee and a quadzilla 500 for times will post pics soon

we have not hit the dyno yet, but we suspect in the 60hp range

I was starting in 2nd gear hitting 3rd after the jump at the starting line then shifting into 4th between the 1st and 2nd breaker and pulling 4th the rest of the hill.
