06+ Hot Cams Owners i need help????

Ok i recently bought a Hot Cams stage 2 for my 07 450R. it was used and out of a 2005 450R. Heres my problem, It wont start with the electric starter but if you roll start it then it fires right up. I put the stock cam back in it tonight and it fired right up off the button. What is wrong here i know other ppl have HCII in their electric starts. what does it take for it to work???

are you adjusting the decompressor??? when putting in the new cam.

yeah, if you are talking about the gap on the rocker arm of the decompressor i set if at .011

Did you install the decompression on the end of the cam?

The decompresor clearance is .006 + the right side exhaust valve clearance +/- .001. That means it is .006 + .011 so it should be .017.

Try that and see if it starts.
