badinblack how many inches did u take off and did u cut from back or front i am thinking about cutting more of mine and moving the mounting spot and just welding it to the frame so it can be shorter.. wut do u think :macho

its cut 4in"s. you want to cut from the front because if not you'll be left without a mounting tab.

if it was me i wouldn't weld it to the frame... just drill a new hole or make a mounting bracket.

but if i drill a hole in the sub frame that it will be less strong where i drilled it at and it will get alot of stress and could crack.

then if it has more torque how come the pro racers don't use them?

Becuase with a shortened muffler the pipe is much louder and the pro's cant run pipes over a certain DB level so they use longer canisters to make up for it.

then you need to run a mount like the one on R3Concepts bike and you shouldn't have any problems.

exactly! this will help for the drag racers or riders that don't get sound checked.

yea thats what i was going to do but i could not find anything to make a mount or i dont no where to get one
