Hot cam stage 2

I have a friend who has a hotcam stage 2 that he wants to trade to me for some tires I have. I am interested in the trade but I have heard that the hotcams only have a 25 hour work life. If so I'm sure that they are at or near 25 hours on them. If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

I havnt heard that. I had the old style stage 2 cam a few years ago. It was in for three years and I know there was more than 25hours on it and it didnt look like It was hardly worn at all.

Ok thats what I needed to know. The cam is probably four years old. It is one of the few parts left over from a part out of a 400ex. If anyone else has any information please let me know.

I have never heard the 25 hour, mine has been in for 2 years or so and still runnin strong.
