I need some suggestions on a 500 watts rms amp. Any ideas?

can never go wrong with fender or marshall.. both are pretty much equal in quality

I think he's talking about car audio....but I've never had problems out of Rockford or Alpine, so they get my vote.

if you got the money, get a JL Audio slash series amp. Its one of the only amps on the market that pushes the true RMS wattage

Did you ever get CVXs? I think awhile back you were saying you wanted to get kicker CVX subs. Just wondering because im ready for an upgrade and I was looking at the CVXs.

I agree with the JL amps. They are very nice but pricey.

My little kicker 400.1 amp puts out 486rms.

why not just get something around 750rms and just turn the settings down on the amp?

Kicker makes pretty good amps. Im very happy with mine and they have great prices. They also Underrate them. The 750.1 puts out like 870rms.

acutally I havent man. I picked up a couple of Punch P2 4 ohm 10's in a Rockford ported box for them. Also had a Kicker 1200.1 amp on them and they would bounce an unopened water bottle off my trunk lid 1 1/2" or so. That was enough for me. The CVX's are very nice subs, can handle a good amount of power.
