For the ltr...

After graduation, I know i will have around 2500-3000 bucks to spend, so im looking at a front end for the zuki. I want walsh/fox again, but i really want the PEPs. I was thinking like walsh/pep, walsh/fox, jb/fox, jb/pep. lol. What do you guys think? Ill also probably pick up a precision and a exhaust.

Fox/Walsh and Fox/Jb seem to be the hot set-ups for the ltr. I know they all perform well

I know everyone is on the Fox kick, but I made the switch from Fox to PEP Pb-1's and I love the PEP. I'm running PEP/Roll Design on my 450r and have a PEP/Walsh front end for my KTM.

In my opinion, I'd try the PEP. Little more pricey, but the quality is 2nd to none.

Houser Slicast (sp) with fox. Unbelievable set up, front end so easy to set up with houser. Wade was big into Houser, but this setup was on quad when he bought it, & said Huge difference.

i had walsh/pep on my YFZ. Best front end i ever rode. The quality of both products were second to none. In my oppinion, it was the best lookin set up as well.

JRP if you are going to buy a front end why don't you get a rear shock at the same time? It would be more of a difference than a pipe. The complete suspension package changes handling so much more than just a front end.

I would rather run stock then elka to tell you the truth. For what you pay for elka you are better off spending a bit extra for pb1s or fox unless you are sponsored by elka and want to pay gtt to revalve them for your actual set up.

i have elka elite quad rates on my 05 trx 450 and i love em. its like riding on air. you must have got a bad set or something because IMO they are some of the best shox you can buy.

I say go out on a limb and go walsh/motowoz. Haven't heard one bad thing about motowoz. I plan on going with JB/motowoz.

I think either shock would be a good choice, but I prefer the JB arms myself. I love JB's products.

so true. The only way for 1 person to know what the best shock is would be to buy all the different brands of shocks setup exactly for them and ride the same terrain with all of the shocks switching them on and off. Narrow them down to the best and keep doing that until you find the single best shock. Has anybody done this yet? I highly doubt it. The thing most go by is what others think is best.

i personaly think the a arm makes it sit high due to the shape, even if both have the same ride height the JBs just seemingly look higher

haha my bad......I meant to say I'm looking into JD a arms and motowoz. Didn't even realize I had put JB's. But you are right when it comes to the JB's. It does seem like they sit a bit higher than most. If I got JB's I would want the style Upperman has on his Honda but I don't think they make those for the Zuki

3 of my friends got PB-1's from baldwin and they were awful , Super stiff with no rebound at all ... they had to send them to Stadium to get them revalved and now they are awesome. + they took forever to come in.

ARC's tho and PB-1's from SF racing are a charm from what i can tell because theres a couple of sets here.

From experience , Every sets of pep's that I rode were excelent-

Stadium are also in my favorites-

I have 1 Walsh TRX with Fox and I love them , but the rear wasnt working well until Stadium touched it.

I have 1 new 07 walsh TRX with the new Fox DSC , and they feel way better than the other shocks on my 05.

I had Elka before, and i will never have them again.

I wont Race a set of shocks unless there touched by Laz and GT Thunder....i had Elkas and sure they were nicer than stock but i didnt know what i was missing till GTT set them up, and they'll be gettin another set of Elkas from me withen the next month or so

I love my fox/walsh on my TRX, but there have been a couple times i've wanted to switch back to PEP. I've had so much trouble getting my Podium set up and it still doesnt work properly. The fronts I like, but I would almost prefer a set of PEP over them. I've rode both set ups, and that is my honest opinion. I would go with PEP if I could do it all over again.

You really cant go wrong with any of those setups, fox, jb, pep, and walsh are some of the best in the business. I will say with PEPs they will be setup for YOU alot better then the fox which you have to play with. But again once they are dialed ive heard they are great. Ive got PEP/JB on my trx and love it, but thats all ive ridden so I cant compare.

In the end just get what you really WANT, because youll end up switching or something. You cant go wrong with any of them.
