valve adjustment

ok so i talked to my local shop about getting my valves adjusted on my 07 525 irs and they quoted me for 2 hours of labor plus shims if needed. upon searching this forum i found the video on youtube on how to adjust the valves and adjusted mine in about 30 min. what was the shop talking about shims and is 2 hours a ripoff?

The 525 does not use shims and if you did yours the first time in 30 minutes doesn't 2 hours sound like quite the rip-off?

the price they quoted includes taking off all the body parts, gas tank, valve adjustment then reasembling.
