After I ride the quad for a bit on a track it starts to bog down and die. After it stops, doesn't want to start back up for a bit. Any options on what this could be?

Specifics of quad: 06 450ER, K&N, No Lid, HRC Header, WB XCR Slip On, Green Wire Mod, 160 Main, Stock Pilot, Replaced Leak Jet (can't remember which size though). Was running flawlessly till the past couple trips to the local ORV track. I'm thinking electrical or carb. Checked plug and it was a little dirty. I was running a 162 main so dropped to 160. Runs great other than the bogging and stalling which is freaking scary on a track. Have a big dune trip in a few weeks and need to get this figure out. Any help would be great.

purchase some spray carb cleaner, take the carb off, and go to town.

if there is any O-rings or rubber in the carb take it out carb cleaner isnt very healthy for them. also how is your crankcase breather? is it stopped up?

Try checking and seeing if your gas cap vent is actually venting.

Thanks for the ideas. I was going to pull the carb today and will check it out. I have a new A/F screw to install also. Didn't think of checking the gas cap vent.
