View Full Version : This WEATHER?!?!?!?
What is up with this crazy weather? Already we have had more storms, and tornadoes than we have all year long! Tonight we had 5 tornadoes strike down within our town, this is soooo weird!

that means more fun for me. We have hurricane parties and stuff. Then when everything gets flooded I go skimboarding where ever I want and I try and fly lol I stood on the biggest hill with a steeper drop off that I could find with a sheet wind to my back and I jumped straight up in the air and I glided pretty far with that wind before I came down sliding its real fun. I tried going down the road with a skateboard and a kite works well until you fall then you slide and get dragged around but yeah thats what hurricane season brings to me lol
this weather is just nuts! hopefully the atmosphere calms down and theres not so many different low pressures combining, lol. I was hoping since im done with school i could ride more, but with this weather, its making it impossible!

hasnt rained here in like 3 or 4 weeks
well this sucks.....
my mom comes to wake me up around 7:30 this morning and tells me a tree fell on my jeep last night. It totaled it........ It wasn't a full tree but it was a part of a tree, big enough to be a full tree, lol.
The damage isn't real bad(right side is all bent in, roof is caved in real bad, and the normal scratches, but since its a 1999 and with 140,000 miles, its probably not worth but 4g and for a new roof, and some other pieces they will probably total it. We are hoping home owners will cover this, and at the best, give us a check for the price of the jeep so we can go out and buy something else. We are thinking a cheap pickup truck. The tree did come across and hit our new gmc 3500 but thankfully it didnt even scratch that!

Yup, such is life in the midwest. ;)
I used to laugh a little when I lived on the Oregon coast and people would freak out when it started storming a little. The rain hadn't even started sheeting yet. I always thought to myself I need to haul them to tornado alley and show them what a real summer storm looks like.. lol. I think they think the term "rain coming in sideways" is a figure of speech. :P
We are supposed to get rain, large hail, tornadoes, and straight line winds up to 100mph here again tonight. I'd best make room in the garage for the Jeep. ;)

It's getting pretty rediculous here. We farm quite a bit and have maybe 300 acrs planted. If this rain doesn't stop farming is cancelled this year.....Thats like saying no christmas!!! :eek2:

it was a wild day to say the least...........
We've had some strange weather here... Been hot one day, and cold the next.... Today, 6am-1pm, it was very cool outside... Then it got so damn humid, you could barely breath outside......... And I had to sandblast, 10 hours today. Damn it was hot!!!!!!
We got all our storms last week..... Gotta love em.... As long as the house stays on the ground! ;)
