Please use helmet if learning this from me.

1. you will need to be rolling in 2nd.

2. You will need to pop the clutch. (while you pop the clutch you will need to push in a quarter of the way more then were you were at the gas).

3. you should be leaning back as your front comes up.

NOTE: If you tend to stay in wheelie you will not want to apply the brake. unlees you want the front to come crashing down and yu fly off.

why put that much added stress on the motor? why not just wait till its in the powerband and roll on the gas hard? ive never had the problem of having to dump the clutch even when i had the blaster for a week it would pull them up im sure your banshee could too

sounds like u guys r some real rookies!! lol if u cant pull up with out the clutch u have issues!, especially on a banshee the king of power. I can Pull my Honda 310 R up in any gear 1-6 just by juicing it and im yet to crash.

ya i have a 400ex and i can pull wheelies in 3rd gear without usin the clutch. the only time you should use clutch is in higher gears or if your doing stunts like high chairs, special k's stuff like that.

Actually, I've been riding for a long time and I wheelie my quad or streetbike more than 50% when I ride. I've always snapped the clutch to get them up, its just the way I learned back in 1989 with my Honda Hurricane and its how I ride today. I've never had any problems or tore a bike up because of it.
On my gixxer 750, the front end will come up with no effort but out of habit, I usually yank the clutch.!?! everyone has a different riding style....mine just happens to be wrong!:D
