engine noise help!!

OK i was irdeing today and was listeneing and there is a tickign in my engine its weird it starts good doesnt smoke i dont no wht it could be it migt be my exaust but im not sure it does it on a high idle and stops when you touch the gas

think so? i am not sure i am putting in hot cams next week though and was just wondering on what it all could be.

Valves for sure, if you had the cam in already its normal to have minor ticking.

no i dont have it in yet i am putting one in next week so i guess i wont ride much this week but could you help me out with how to adjust my valves and swap cams i never did it before.
