Boss Bearing Carrier Question

I purchased a Boss Racing Bearing Carrier for my 300EX. The seller says I don't need the O-Rings that go around the carrier and into the swing arm (like the factory)... Anybody know if this is true?

Thanks. I'll be putting the outer O-Rings on for the axle to bearing seals. It's the 2 O-Rings that are inside the swing arm around the carrier itself... Probably won't hurt to put them on if I can find some that fit.
