I have a very good set of extended front a-arms for single a-arm quads for sale. will fit predator, drr, eton and all other similiar single a-arm quads. they work well with 12" shocks, and have a slight gull wing design to get the front just a little higher than the rear the way it should be. Includes all bushings and 10mm tie rods to fit polaris style mini quad tie rod ends. I'll take $200.00 shipped, or $425.00 and I'll include the 12" fox shocks set up for a 75-100 lb rider with them. Thanks, Dan.

Are the shocks in good shape and would you consider them soft or stiff.

why does one side have coil spring and not the other

The shocks are in very good shape, and set up perfectly for mx racing for a 75 lb. rider and these a-arms. the are compression adjustible only. The shocks may be sold already, but I also have another set on our other quad I might sell.

The picture with no coil spring is from a year ago when we were rebuilding the quad and fitting the a-arms. The shock in that picture is a different shock installed without the spring to check the shock length.

Both front shocks are gas charged fox racing shocks with coil springs that are preload adjustible.

Thanks, Dan.

If still available I would like to buy a arms and shocks. If shocks are sold what other pair you got and how much. I have a scrambler 90 with +3 arms and works shocks stock length. My boy is way to aggressive and we need more travel.

Okey, I have the 2 pairs of the fox shocks that are 12" long and set up identical. They have about 4" of shaft travel. I will know for sure this weekend if the set with these a-arms is still availible, and the other set I can't sell yet until we get the new front end and shocks for our other bike.

The other person interested in the fox shocks is someone we race with up here, he wants to try them on his kids bike, but it sounds like he is most likely interested in a pair of 13" elka's I have instead. He has the shocks at his house now, which is why I can't ship them out until Monday at the earliest.

When is your next race? You are 2 days from me by ups, so I could have it all to you by next wednesday if it works out.

Dan

Yep, everything is still availible. The friend of ours is buying the 13" elkas I had instead, so the 12" fox shocks as pictured that are built for these a-arms and the arms are still availible. He is shipping the Fox shocks back to me tommorrow. So I should have them here tuesday or wednesday. If you are still interested I will Take $400.00 shipped for the arms, tie rods, and arms as a package. Dan.

P.S. if you use stock from rims, it will make your front end 43" wide, with aftermarket 5x10 wheels, they are 44" wide with the 3' dish out, and 42" with the 2" dish out. (measured at the outside of the tires.)

They are plus 4 innches wider than the stock Predator 90 arms.

Did you have to get different front brake cables. If you would let me know what I need to use the front brakes. Thanks Joe

dericsdad

Nope, just had to route them a little different, but the cables on our predator 90 worked fine with these arms. The a-arms and shocks all have good bushings in them. The outer spindle bushings on the a-arms are still good and tight. You may even need to tap your spindles into them. They aren't greasible because they are polyurethane and don't need to be greased. Also your seals and dust cap won't be needed either. Everything should be there tuesday by ups. I emailed you the tracking number. If you have any more questions I'd be glad to help.

P.S. post a picture of your scrammy when it is all done so we can see! Thanks, Dan.

Sorry, they are sold. But I may have another pair similar to them but lower profile with a little steeper shock angle for sale soon. All depends on if we get a DRR frame or not. Dan

since these arms are sold could you tell me what brand were they ?did you like them ? what travel did you get with them with the 12" shocks ? thanks mike

dericsdad

they are Metrikit a-arms. Go to www.cycleimports.com. They had roughly 5.5" of wheel travel from 12" shocks with 3 1/2" of shock travel.

We got package today. Every thing looks great. Thanks a lot. I got a question? I was wanting to get the a arms powder coated to match our frame. How do I get the bushings out. Do I just tap them out like the stockers or? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Joe

O yeah soon as I get them powder coated I will post some pics.

dericsdad
06-24-2008, 11:12 PM
Yep, they should just tap right out. They are solid poly bushings, just use a socket or something close to the same diamater as the bushings. I should have asked before I added a fresh coat of paint!! Sorry, its about 3 layers thick. Can't wait to see a pic of your bike with them on. Also, you can trim down the rubber bump stops on the shocks to get even more travel if you want. On or other shocks I trimmed them to about 1/8 inch thick. Dan.
