wat should i do?????

my rear end recently went and i needed a new carrier etc, my question is wen my bearings went the part on my sprocket hub tht the seal contacts got kinda ''chewed'' up a bit wen the bearings went, i sanded it down and seems smooth to the touch but i dont wana have to replace the seals after a few rides....should i replace it or wat??????? any input is very helpfull

i went ahead and replaced mine while i had it apart, better safe than sorry i guess, and the part wasnt exspensive

o sry i wasnt talkin about the carrier, i already got a new one, i was talkin about the axle part, but i got it all figured out now
