Front Fender questions

I was wanting to remove the black plastics on the front of my kfx for on the track, but i want to be able to put them back on when i go on trails. Anyone have any idea where i can get new plastic rivits?

ok have you removed em yet? if not first you go to a dealer and buy some push pins (either honda or zuke/kawi type, both would work, i prefer the honda ones but went with kawi cause they look better), then you simply hack away at the rivets on the bottom of em with small bolt cutters, then when you get them off you get a drill and make the holes a little bigger for the pushpins, and shazzam - removeable flares!!

okay sounds good, exept confused on why u have to make bigger wholes, and do u have a picture of the push pin by chance?

you have to drill bigger holes so these will fit in em, all in all its relatively simple then its a breeze to install/remove the flares

okay thanks, what if i were to use the 6 mm?

I never put the rivits back when I put the fenders back on. I only put the two screw things and the bolt on the bottom and they stayed fine.

yea i was thinking i might do that because the local dealers around here are not to bright.
