What gas octane does everybody run in their 400's...(Stock Compression) I was just wondering because in my book it says minumum of 92 octane.

I run super unleaded when my bike was stock which is 93 octane here.

i ran 9. octane plus octane booster when i had my 400ex

87 octane.

yea i run 93 octane...my quads not a gas hog compared to my work truck and my jetski so too me its cheap as **** to run 93...i do beleve that these engines shouildn't run anythiung less than 92....IMO

Honda sais 89 is the best to run in the stock engine. Prob. due to the cooling factor
