What race fuels are you guys having good luck with on your modified 250r s ?

I run Torco 110 octane.

Any brand of 110 leaded that I can get the easiest.

havent heard anything bad about any of the fuels except trick race gas

sunoco is usually the cheapest.

Motofool250r, where do you live... In south NJ sunoco 110 is $8.00 a gallon. at a race shop 110 is $9.00 and 112 is $9.75 a gallon. I usually pick up whatever is cheapest

Whoa. I live in Michigan and the Sunoco near me sells Torco 110 for $5.39 a gallon. Guess I should stock up...

Not really.

I live a few hours south of Motofool and I'm paying $5.35 right out of the pump, it all depends on who you buy from. My race fuel price hasn't went up like unleaded fuel has, honestly I think it's stayed the same for the last year.

yea VP sells for 75$ a 5 gallon can or 15$ a gallon.

Sunoco out of the pump $6.65 Florida I saw it the outher day at another Sunoco for $7.95. So I guess It's where you go. Our fuel hasn't gone up eather in over a year.

Im paying 9 a gallon for sunoco 112 in NY

Where Im from we have a couple gas stations that sell Turbo Blue. I believe they change octane between summer and winter. But I believe summer they use 110. When I had the banshee thats what I ran with no issues. It was a bit cheaper then. Now I think its around the $6/gal mark which is still a hell of alot cheaper then VP around here. So whats the reason behind this thread?? I never really heard of any issues with bad race gas from a supplier or pump.

do your research.. buying racegas outta the pump is dumb IMO.. everytime fresh air gets to race gas it looses some of its qualities...

VP is made in such large quantities that sometimes youl get a good batch and other times you wont..

a good race gas is made in very small batches to keep consistancy.. so far ive found Power Mist is made in the small quantities.. i havent found any others

the gas in the pumps is nothing like the stuff in the can... the pump stuff is almost like generic i guess you could say.. thats why its cheaper
