Hey guyz,

I'm a taller rider 6'3. I know when you jump you stand up and hold on to your handlebars. Well I'm having to hunch a little bit,
because the bars are too low? Is there anyway I can get some taller handlebars, is the hunch normal, if I get pro taper handle bars or other aftermarket ones, where will I put my ignition cluster at for my ER???

Couple more ?'s :)

How do you and what kind of grease do you use on your chain?
How frequently do you do it?

Are the Rath Racing Wide Foot Nerf Bars the best?

Is a Elka Steering Stabilizer a must?

Thanks so much!!!

I would probably get some CR hi's or something or maybe a plus 2 stem. you ign. stuff you will have to get creative, i strapped my key to the frame under my hood. i use maxima chain lube and i use it everytime i was my quad. rath bars are freakin sweet wish i had some. and i think any stabilizer is a must for motocross, unless your a beast.

flex bars rock. im about 5'8 and im running stock stem and the low flex bars and im happy. i think they are for dirtbikes though, but the quad one are higher so maybe just a plus 1 stem in that case but its all rider preference.

yes i also was having a hunching problem. And yes +1 means 1 inch taller. it worked great for me but some taller guys go with +2. maybe i just got long arms haha but it will definitly help.....gotta love those ape hangers nick110 shows there lol

What bend are those??? I'm 6"3" and a +1 stem with stock bars is way too low for me. Nvm just looked at your signature.

if anything, the bar adapters add a good inch or so onto the height and if you were to get some bars that were just SLIGHTLY taller than stock (so it doesn't look goofy haha) i'm sure it would be alright.

i'm 6'2" and with the bars that came on my 300, i had to straight my arms almost all the way to reach. i bought some pro-taper bar adapters (they're all pretty much the same but i bought mine from my local dealer and it was all they had) and some tag t2 bars in CR hi and it's seriously perfect. i couldn't have asked for a better setup (besides something costing way more than i could afford obviously haha)

Shoot dang...I thought you got your camera back from getting your big bore put in, and you finally got some pics of those V bars, and wheel spacers. :(

Back on topic though....A taller stem is the only way to go as tall as you are.

If you go to tall your going to run into cable length problems, I am 6'2 have a +2 stem and Fasst 14deg Creech bend bars feels good for me. Another thing is peg height i had some AC nerfs and the pegs are a inch or so higher than my current Pro Armor pegs that helps alot also with stance.
