Burgard Stem and pro tapers. For me the stem and bars but mainly the stem is so nice with the anti-vibe. Also, a pipe of your choice, jet kit and a good filter. What riding are you doing?

thanks for the ideas

I ride trails around the farm that me and my cousin have made, I also have a very small track with a tabletop and a double double.

id, start with a good FULL system the stock 300ex header is very restrictive. i recomend HMF or curtis sparks if noise is not an issue,

if you want something a little quieter id get a white brothers e-series, so you can adjust the sound output.

then get a good filter (UNI) and jet accordingly,

other than that, get a good set of bars, and then id upgrade the suspension, especially if your doing any jumping, cuse the 300ex pogo sticks wont cut it,

you can get works front shocks cheap and you can use a 01 raptor 660 rear shock, its a big improvment over stock

that will get ya started anyways

Definately go with pipe, jetting and airbox relief.
I went with an FMF Q2 full system, followed the FMF jetting and air box mods from their website and came away with more power and torgue with good sound. It is not a loud pipe.

Yes a pipe, filter, and jet kit will change your 300 amazingly.

 What? Lonestar exhaust? Go Faster Valve?

Full System Exhaust, Aftermarket Filter (Uni or K&N), venting of the airbow (or lid removal), rejet.

Kill Switch.

Suspension.

Saftey Gear.

Then, misc aftermarket (bars, bolt on mods, etc..)

I was wondering the same thing about that post. With a Twin Air filter, E-Series full system, and no air box lid what jetting should i be running.?

Your first mods should be a pipe if you already have nerfs and tires unless you need skids for trails or xc.

this is the order you should mod a machine...

1. protection-for you and the bike-skids minimum of .250 thick swinger skid and a any chassis skid...helmet, gloves, boots, etc

2 suspension-stock suspensions sucks...you can go a lot faster on stoke performance if the bike handles well than you could with slight engine output mods mods

3. performance-now go for the pipe, filter, cam, etc...got big money, port polish, bore it out...etc

4. make it pretty

1. I want skids soon, I have everything else

2. I know raptor 660r rear shock, but what up front?

3. what is the best pipe for the $$$$$?? might as well plan ahead

for front suspension the options are endless it all dpeends on budget if you dont have much to spair look into works or recreational series peps,

or keep looking for the right deal.

as far as pipe, id go HMF or sparks either way you wont go wrong

handle bars skids exaust intake jets . then if you wanna go ahead go for a +4 axle. then work with front end. you can only go as fast as your chassi can handle.
