here is what jb's sight says ""YFZ MX Swing Arm- Features our round housing design allowing the use of a Honda 250R/400EX carrier for quick and easy chain adjustment along with extreme durability. With our design you are able to use a Stock Style YFZ axle and brake caliper. To use this set up it is necessary to purchase our billet Brake Stay plate. It is also developed to use a 250R axle and brake caliper. Available in MX or TT applications. Most commonly used swing arms are as follows: MX STD Length. "" that makes it sound like the yfz axle would fit inside the 250r or 400ex carrier??

i've just had the same problem....i switched to a 250r rear end, the yfz LSR +4 axle will not fit in a 250r carrier....so i had to buy a +4 250r axle(and plus i had to get the 250r sprocket hub etc.)
