My gut tells me that the YFZ axle will not fit into the 250R carrier, I'd give JB a call.

The carrier is the sae but you will need the bearings for a YFZ in it. The center tube and bearings are different.

this is what jbs sight says ""YFZ MX Swing Arm- Features our round housing design allowing the use of a Honda 250R/400EX carrier for quick and easy chain adjustment along with extreme durability. With our design you are able to use a Stock Style YFZ axle and brake caliper. To use this set up it is necessary to purchase our billet Brake Stay plate. It is also developed to use a 250R axle and brake caliper. Available in MX or TT applications. Most commonly used swing arms are as follows: MX STD Length. "" They make it sound like it would work with a 400 or 250r carrier and still use a yfz axle???
