'09 DS's

OK so the DS for '09......there is supposed to be an announcement soon.

Updates?, variant (DS450MX)? new model? (DS550)????

Who's got the inside news?

I'd expect to see some refinements in the tranny to smooth shifting and eliminate the false neutrals some people have experienced. They also may make some adjustments to the intake/exhaust track to perhaps add a little more bottom end, though that may not be till next year.

Also, judging from the DS250, I'd expect to see one in .....white!!!

I'm with Punk'd on this one. I hope it is something that can be added on to our current DS's.

I'm sure there will be significant changes or they would have announced it with the other 09's. Do you know when the announcement will come?

They need to get a little more bottom out of them but idk what they are gonna do with the throttle body because the race teams are running a bigger throttle body and a bigger injector.

exactly what you need in a quad built for MX

I hope it's going to be a ready to race like KTM:D and why not one for mx,one for xc again like KTM:devil: I red in a magazine maybe they will put the APRILIA 550 TWIN cylindre:muscle: :muscle: :macho it will be a good way to build a xc :macho and compete with the other big bore.

that would be cool but you cant run a twin. Plus Can Am is the new xc sponsor and next year the cc limit goes to 450

Not exactly true...while they may be trying bigger injectors, some are experimenting with smaller intake and exhaust tracks and shorter headers to make the power more broad across the range. Now this is specific to motocross so the open races they may be going bigger.

My guess would be August on the release and we prolly won't see any 09's until the end of the year like lastyear.:rolleyes:
