big gun rev box

i recently put a big gun rev box on my 400ex and was just wondering what anyone thought about these. I like the ability to start in reverse but haven't noticed a lot of difference. will it do any damage, or is it ok to leave on? i've been looking around, but answers seem to go both ways. i'd just like some input from some people with some experience with cdi boxes.

I have had mine for 5 years now and no problem. Any power gains? I Don't know. Just remember most aftermarket boxes will give about 1,000 more rpm and if you are riding it like a two stroke you will wear parts a little faster. Don't abuse it and it will last a long time, after all its a Honda
