my yz 426 motor is running fine for about 15 mins then just dieing on me. it wont kick start after it shuts off unless i let it sit for 5 mins. but it will coast start immediatly after it shuts off. it not poping on decel and there arnt any signs of it being rich or lean. when the motor is cold its starting up first kick. ive ripped the carb apart and cleaned it twice. im completly stuck and cant go riding with my friend because there tried of the ******* shutting off. anyone have any ideas

Don`t under stand the dieing part....

If it won`t kick start...maybe valve adjustment?

thats what i was thinking. if i ever get some free time ill adjust them whats the specs on them?

yeah it sounds like your valves are tightening up on you,they are in need of adjustment.You'll need to re shim them.Dont have specs right off hand but chances are the intakes usually go out of whack first.I usually shim twice then get new valves as when the valves start cupping too bad trhey will ruin your seats aka head.The yamahas seem to be more durable than the hondas from my experience but they do wear;)
